HEAD OF ACADEMY HB Tórshavn
HB Tórshavn is recruiting for the position Head of Academy and looks forward to receiving applications for this position.

The Head of Academy is responsible for the organization, preparation and implementation of the player- and coach development in the youth department.

We are looking for a skilled coach with the ability to work with minimal supervision, to work on own initiative and as part of a team, with the support of the Youth Board of Directors.

Requirements and personal skills:
- Education - a minimum UEFA “B” License Certification or satisfactory equivalent.
- Proven ability to lead coaches in accordance with the HB Youth Strategic Plan.
- Must be well organized and possess excellent time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and focus on the Academy as a whole and the individual player.
- Ability to implement a coherent player development up through the age groups.
- Ability to liaise with players and their parents, coaches, management and other football related individuals in a professional manner. Should understand the importance of developing excellent membership relationships, both internally and externally.

Desirable: previous experience of working within the football or related industry, especially working with youth and children. It is an advantage if you posess other certificates related to the coaching of youth and children or the coaches.
We are offering you a exiting position at a well run football club that strives to create a centre of excellence for the game. HB has around 50 teams competing, making HB the largest individual football club in the Faroe Islands.

It is a full time job plus any additional hours necessary for the performance of Duties. Fee and other conditions and benefits will be disclosed and discussed in interview.
